The IDEA Center was initiated in May 1999. As an affiliated branch of this organization we share their main objectives:
1. Promote and substantiate scientifically that life was designed by an intelligent agent
2. Educate people about legitimate problems with natural explanations and models for the origins and evolution of life
3. Challenge the philosophical assumptions of Darwinism, naturalism, and materialism
4. Facilitate discussion, debate, and dialogue in a warm, friendly, and open atmosphere where individuals feel free to speak their personal views
